Biography
Gabrielė Bukinė completed her master's studies in vocal performance at the Music Academy of Vytautas Magnus University under the guidance of Professor Sabina Martinaitytė in 2021. That same year, she began her tenure as a teacher at the Academy of Music of VMU and made her debut at the Kaunas State Music Theater, performing leading roles as Violetta in G. Verdi's La Traviata and Fiorilla in G. Rossini's Il Turco in Italia; therefore, she was nominated for the Golden Cross of Stage and was presented with the prestigious statuette of Fortune.

In September 2023, Gabrielė Bukinė emerged as the absolute winner of the esteemed 13th International Klaudia Taev Competition in Estonia, securing both the 1st Prize and the Audience Favorite titles. Since 2017, she has distinguished herself as a participant and Grand Prix laureate in fourteen other international competitions across Germany, Poland, Ukraine, Lithuania, Finland, Russia, and Kazakhstan.
In 2024, at the Lithuanian National Opera and Ballet Theatre (LNOBT) awards ceremony honoring the outstanding performances of 2023, Gabrielė Bukinė was awarded the Hope of Opera statue. Additionally, she was named the Favorite Soloist of the Year, a recognition determined by audience votes.
Moreover, in 2023, she received the Kaunas City Culture Prize from the Kaunas City Council. She has also been a recipient of prestigious honorary and incentive scholarships, including two awarded by the President of the Republic of Lithuania, as well as scholarships from Intermedix Lietuva, R1 Lietuva, and VMU. Her exceptional talents have further earned her letters of appreciation from President Dalia Grybauskaitė.
